Unicornuate uterus is a congenitally defective condition in which only one side of uterus is developed and only one side Fallopian tube is able to fertilise eggs. These females have high chances of infertility, abortion and premature labour.
This patient had congenital imperforated anus for which she was operated in neonatal period.
After marriage she had undergone laparoscopy which showed unicornuate uterus with blocked tubes.
During hysteroscopy she was diagnosed with uterine tuberculosis. She was treated for TB for 6 months.
IVF was done with her own eggs and husband sperm and she conceived in 1st attempt. She had undergone cervical cerclage at 13 weeks of pregnancy. She continued pregnancy full term and delivered twin healthy female child.Baby weight were 2kg and 2.1 kg did not require NICU admission. In world literature we find very few evidence of twins pregnancy in Unicornuate uterus.
